Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, the Director General of the institute of Public Administration affirmed that the institute today is heading towards providing Internationally accredited programs which are designed locally by the national cadres at the institute, with the objective to live up to the national plans and visions that aim to take the Kingdom of Bahrain to be the international lead in all administrative sciences. H.E. added that the Institute of Public Administration is exceptional in the region being the first to be accredited institute to award the international Coach Leader certificate (level 1) from the International Coach Federation (ICF) for individuals from the government sector and establishments from the private sector as well as individuals. Her statement came on the occasion of the conclusion of the program to prepare the Coach Leader, that was provided by the Institute of Public Administration to the the national public administration cadres at the Education and Training Quality Authority Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa explained the importance of strengthening the coaching skills of the national cadres at different stages of their profession, since coaching is considered one of the modern channels used globally to develop and boost the leadership skills, raise the personal awareness, and motivate the institutional cadres to reach the highest level of professional and personal capabilities that will induce a professional momentum to achieve personal and institutional goals. For her part Dr. Mariam Hassan Mustafa, the Chief Executive Officer of the Education and Training Quality Authority affirmed the importance of the partnership with the Institute of Public Administration in providing internationally accredited programs for the national cadres at the Authority lauding the outputs of the program in achieving the joint aspirations with the Institute that aim at the advancement of national cadres. She praised the outcomes of the program that qualifies the participants to enter the accreditation level from the ICF as an accredited Coach at the level of ACC - Certified Associate as well as qualifies them to take the role an internal Coach at the Authority to provide support the rest of the employees.
